Ozone Violation Locations in Ozone Transport Region
Shifting upper and lower level winds may be causing emissions from the south and west to converge in Connecticut and thereby cause higher ozone levels. Only a few years ago, that convergence was centered in Maryland. Scientists don’t know whether this is simply cyclical, or climate change at work.
