Several schools in Hartford have been targeted to improve diversity,
but the large majority have not been targeted and remain
racially and ethnically isolated. Schools
marked green are considered
integrated, with a black and Hispanic population below 75
percent. Schools marked red have a
black and Hispanic population of 76 percent or higher. Schools
marked yellow have black and
Hispanic populations between 75 and 76 percent and are in danger of
becoming segregated.
